About Exorna Kitchens

EXORNA - 30 YEARS OF DEPENDABILITY

On 26th May 1981 Willie Oliver delivered the first kitchens manufactured by Exorna to a customer in Newry for four new homes being built in Dundalk.

At that time the business was operating from a 4,500 sq ft farm type building outside Castlerock but taking into account that the foundations for that building had only been laid in February of that year, the fact that the business was in production inside three months was itself considered a major achievement.

The business has never stopped growing and the 70,000 sq ft factory which the company owns on the Ballycastle Industrial Estate now produces around 80 kitchens a week.

Over the years the company has invested continually in the most modern machinery available and is in no doubt that the manufacture of most components in their own factory has helped to keep the company's prices very competitive.

Customer satisfaction is the mainstay of any successful business and it is no coincidence that over 80% of the company's customers comes from repeat business and referrals from satisfied customers. So seriously does the company value its reputation that customer deposits are banked separately from the company's own bank account to ensure that the customer is protected and the money is only released to the company when the kitchen is complete.

Kitchens may have changed considerably in appearance over the past 30 years but as a company Exorna Kitchens believes that dependability, reliability, quality and value for money are every bit as important today as they were 30 years ago.
